We had a lovely Friday evening on the courts at Edgewood Bath & Tennis in Middlebury. Thank you to Susie Jones for donating the courts and facility for this evening and for providing beautiful decor.
We kicked off the evening with a few words from Caroline Sweeney, board member with Seymour Pink, Inc. a 501(c)(3) non-profit supporting breast cancer patients and their families in our area. Then it was off to the courts!
Players enjoyed round robin style play, rotating and playing against various other teams throughout the evening, and keeping track of game wins. We narrowed down to 8 teams for a championship bracket to be able to crown our inaugural champions!
Congratulations to Leah Joseph & Parsh Verma! Parsh was a game-day substitute to play with Leah – Ace, Ace, Baby took the win! 2nd Place was Kim Bandak & Jeanine Powers and 3rd Place went to The Serving Deb’s – Deb Angal and Deb Rosenthal.
Together we were able to raise $1,700 for Seymour Pink! This is amazing – thank you so much for your support of this event and important cause.
